Our grading and awards...

Guest accommodation in England is required to meet progressively higher standards of quality and guest care as the establishment moves up the scale from one to five Stars. Beach Court is graded 5 Stars.

In addition we have received the special award of a silver rating - indicating a higher level of quality.

'Pride of Northumbria seeks to highlight those organisations in the North-East tourism industry which display the very highest standards in customer care and facilities. The award is intended to inspire confidence in our region whilst showing visitors the high quality of service which the North-East has to offer'.

'The unique charm of the English bed and breakfast is one of its greatest assets and this category will reflect this time honoured tradition. You will be required to demonstrate the highest standards of service coupled with the personal touch, warm welcome and colourful atmosphere which are the hallmarks of this type of establishment. Another traditional bed and breakfast virtue is value for money and this too will be high on the judges agenda'.
